Students are expected to be respectful, diplomatic, and professional at all times and with all people you come in contact with during those rotations or while dressed in a PERCOM uniform. 2. Students are NOT allowed to talk back to, denigrate, challenge or criticize any preceptor, staff…

Regarding the NREMT Provisional Certification Post
March 20, 2020
March 20, 2020 at 3:49 p.m. Folks, no this does NOT mean that you can get your provisional certification from NREMT without completing the necessary skills sessions and rotations for your educational program – PERCOM. They are doing this to help get people out working during this crisis who have completed all program graduation requirements and are clear to take their certification exams and who pass the CBT with NREMT ONLY. They are basing this on the fact that the…

We assume that even when they again resume taking students, it can take some time to…
Current Rotation Issues
March 11, 2020
Posted 3/11/2020 at 7:27 p.m. If you are cleared for rotations or are currently completing rotations but rotation sites refuse to schedule your requests or cancel scheduled rotation dates/times (which will be verified with our Clinical Coordinator), you may apply for a free extension to compensate for this time if the affected time is significant in relation to your schedule. Also, if you are sick (sniffles, symptoms of a cold, flu, etc.) you MUST text Mrs. Williams and cancel your…
Posted 3/5/2020 at 12:25 hrs In the Program or Course Orientation Module of each class has been added a “Character Representation” lecture. It is in the section about how you are and will be graded on “affective behavior”. Please go back up to that module if you are already past it and review this lecture. It is very important. Thank you, Jane Dinsmore
Posted 3/5/2020 at 12:22 hrs EMT students, there has been a Recommended Student Schedule added in the Program Orientation Module of your course. It is designed as a way to help you stay on track so that you can complete on time. Please review this, print it off and if you are already working on didactic, compare where you are with where you SHOULD be by now and make adjustments accordingly. We hope this helps. Jane Dinsmore
