Become a Texas EMT Today

Within the health care field, you can take several fulfilling career paths. One of the fastest-growing careers that allows you to get out in your community and make a direct difference is a certified emergency medical technician (EMT).

An EMT has many responsibilities, from responding to emergency calls to ensuring patients receive time-sensitive medical assistance as they travel to a hospital. These health care professionals must have the necessary training to deliver care when it’s needed most.

There’s a growing demand for qualified individuals to graduate and fill roles as EMTs in cities across the United States.

At PERCOMOnline, we make it possible for you to meet this demand and start serving those in your community. We offer open enrollment EMT certification courses in Texas, providing the education and clinical experience you need to become certified.

While you will be required to attend clinical rotations in Texas, you’ll be able to complete the rest of your program online. Once you complete the program, you can transfer your certification via reciprocity for licensure in any state.

What You’ll Gain From EMT Certification Courses in Texas

Students of our entry-level EMT program will graduate with the knowledge, skills and training needed to enter the workforce as competent health care professionals. Though students must complete our programs within reasonable time frames, they are self-paced.

Our in-person and online courses will prepare students to take the NREMT certification exam at a Pearson Vue Testing center and ultimately provide patients in their community with immediate care.
