Cheating and Sharing Tests and Test Questions – READ THIS NOTICE

As is posted in our Student Handbook, cheating or helping others to cheat is strictly banned and enforced in our program.  Recently, it has become more evident that students from various programs across the U.S. have been helping others by copying and pasting test questions to sites online to help others to cheat.  We did catch one student in the recent past in our program doing this as well and it WILL not be tolerated.  Be forewarned that if any further episodes of this are tracked back to any of OUR students, we will drop you from the program immediately with no change of reinstatement and file a report with your state’s EMS licensing office.  Also, Platinum is making changes because of this as well of which you should be aware:

  • Level 4 Feedback is currently being discussed of the various methods to limit our exposure
  • Students we can identify who have posted will be permanently disabled from the system this also applies to a student who committed the infraction in a previous level class and is now in a new class and/or program)
  • The feedback button on a test will no longer send an email but will be posted as a message to the instructor internally
  • We will be instituting a more automated search function to look and identify our content online more rapidly than our current system
  • We will also be editing and modifying all of the questions in our banks
  • Produce and deploy a “Why not to Cheat” video for all students to view
  • Finally, we will investigate our legal options to deal with violators
